10 days safari to Uganda

00Day One: transfer to Murchison falls national park

After your breakfast you will be picked from your hotel by our guide to the park with lunch en route at Masindi and a branch off to Ziwa rhino for rhino tracking. Reach Murchison falls national park with a visit to the top of the falls for a remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing through a narrow gorge. Dinner and overnight stay at Para safari lodge/ Nile safari lodge Red chili rest camp.

Day Two: game drive and a boat ride

After a cup of tea, set off for an early morning game drive to the northern part of the park where you will spot a number of elephants, buffaloes, hunting dogs, giraffes, bushbucks, hyenas among others. Return at your lodge for late breakfast; relax at the swimming pool as you wait for lunch which will be followed by a tremendous boat cruise along the calm Victoria Nile and at the base of the falls. sightings of the hippos, crocodiles and over 20 bird species such as the goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hornbills, cormorants and the rare shoebill stork are highly rewarded. Dinner and an overnight stay at day 1.

Day 3: drive to Kibale Forest National Park

Enjoy  your breakfast this morning and after wards set off for a quick drive to Kibale forest national park via the Albertan Escarpment of the western Rift valley to fort portal through country side homesteads, farms and shadows of Rwenzori mountains. Dinner and overnight Ndali lodge, Kibale primate lodge, Chimps’ Nest

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking

Wake up for a heavy breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about chimp tracking. This will be followed by searching these great apes which will also enable you view other primates like the black and white colobus monkeys, Mangabeys, baboons, Bush babies and many more as your guide provides more information about them. After lunch, you will have a nature walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a number of birds and rare flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge, Kibale primate lodge, Chimps’ Nest

Day 5: transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

After your breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park with a wide game view en route for 2- 3 hours like elephants, buffaloes, leopard, hyena, and leopard. Reach early enough for lunch and then go for a an awesome launch drive along kazinga cannel offering a variety of  Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and water birds at a close range. Dinner and overnight Mweya Safari Lodge / Enganzi Lodge/ Ishasha wilderness camp.

Day 6: chimpanzee trekking and a game drive

Early this morning after a cup of tea, you will enjoy a morning game drive so as to catch up with the early risers as they come out from their hide outs like the lion, buffaloes, warthogs and many more. Retire for a late breakfast which will be followed by a worm lunch and then head to the park headquarters for briefing before descending into the gorge for chimpanzee tracking that also rewards sightings of other primates like the vervet monkeys red colobus monkeys, baboons among others. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Enganzi Lodge/ Ishasha wilderness camp.

Day 7 – drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

After a heavy breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park with a stopover at Ishasha for the famous tree climbing lions; however you may also get to see other animals you might have missed in the previous game drives. Then continue with a scenic drive through Kabale town also known as “the Switzerland of Africa” arriving late evening to the park for relaxation for the next day. Dinner and overnight at: at:

Moderate accommodation: Lake Kitandara camp or Nkuringo camp site or Wagtail Eco lodge or similar
Luxury accommodation: Buhoma lodge or Engagi lodge or Gorilla Resort camp or Traveler’s rest camp or Silver back lodge

Day 8 – Gorilla tracking

Wake up for early morning breakfast and then  depart to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing by the park ranger guides before starting the Gorilla trek in the steep densely forested and beautiful landscape of Bwindi Impenetrable forest. This great and powerful experience will take you about 4-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle and a certificate a waits for a successful tracker. If time allows, you will have a community walk to the batwa (pigmy) people where you will explore more about their unique culture. Return to for supper and night stay at day 7

DAY 9: safari to Lake Mburo national park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo national park with views of beautiful country side homesteads, banana plantations, kisoro hills and many more along the way. Reach early enough for lunch which will be followed by game drive to see to the burchell Zebras, statungas, impalas, gigantic eland antelopes, buffaloes, the list is endless. Dinner and overnight stay at,

Day 10: end of the safari

After your breakfast, you will have an early morning game drive so as to explore the fabulous wild animals with in the park such as the burchell Zebras, statungas, impalas, gigantic eland antelopes and many more. Afterwards check out at your lodge and set off for journey to Entebbe for your flight back home. Enjoy royal drum makers and various homesteads along the way.
